In the last 2 months Canadians have bought tickets on many $50 Million jackpots and only a few have seen sizable wins – NO ONE I KNOW. Talking to retailers, sales are down and we have also noticed a drop in people looking for Lotto MAX winning numbers and Lotto MAX information. Canadians are suffering from “JACKPOT BURN OUT”. Most people we talk to say it is the $5 ticket cost that is the big turn off. Many Super 7 players said the jump from $2 to $5 was just too much.
