Better check your tickets carefully:
An unwitting lottery winner is sitting on an unclaimed £1 million fortune, operator Camelot said today.
The lucky man or woman bought the ticket from a vendor in central Bedfordshire, but players across the whole country are being urged to check and double check their slip of paper.
If no-one comes forward to claim the prize, the cash will go to the National Lottery’s Good Causes fund to be distributed to charities and organisations across the UK. [...]
Whoever is in possession of the ticket has until 5.30pm on January 5 2011 to make a claim.
