The Bluewater Health Foundation’s dream home is being built in Petrolia a third time.The 2002 dream home at 4292 Garden Cres. and the 2005 dream home at 507 First Ave. were both in Petrolia — and the 16th annual dream home for 2011 will be No. 3.
Construction of the $375,000 home at 481 First Ave. is now under way and the winner will have the option of keeping the home or taking a cash prize of $300,000.
The dream home, in the Heritage Park Estates subdivision, will be open every Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., beginning Nov. 6, through to Feb. 13.
Only 7,300 tickets will be sold for $100 each, and go on sale in early September at Bluewater Health’s sites and the Foundation office at its new Norman Site in Sarnia. Tickets will also be available at community locations including area banks, credit unions, the offices of Gamble Insurance, and Shoppers Drug Mart.
