This morning there was a knock at the door and when Lucky answered it, there were 2 men dressed like gangsters or cops from the forties with a really cool looking car from the past out front of our house. The two men would only give their first names as Mugsy and Spats.
Mugsy said the word in the big city is Lucky and his gang may have some information on this week’s Lotto MAX $40 Million thing and may have a good idea what the numbers drawn will be.
Lucky informed them that our paw-picks can be found on our web site, and they did not have to drive all that way from the big city.
Just then Spats was reaching into his overcoat and the whole LotterySquirrel.com gang were in fear for their lives. Spats pulled quickly out a handful of peanuts as a gesture for sharing our secrets. Mugsy said “We knew we could get you to talk one way or another.” Mugsy was asking about how they could clean this money; Spats used the the word laundry.
Lucky then told them the money is all prewashed by the various lottery corporations across Canada. Mugsy and Spats did not believe us that this amount of money was legal. Lucky, being the one who looks after all of LotterySquirrel.com’s tax affairs, said “They will get you on the interest. You are free to move to another country with little or no tax.”
Mugsy and Spats thanked us, and said because we co operated, if they share some of MAX’s money there will be more peanuts in the future for our gang.
Just before they left they posed for a picture with Lucky. Although we have a newer digital camera, the photo for some reason turned out black and white.
Musgy & Spats wanted to fill out an application to be part of the LotterySquirrel.com gang as we work for peanuts.
Mugsy and Spats bought some of our Lucky Black Squirrel pins and a handful of Lucky Coins, as the boys in the big city may want some, because in their line of work you need all the good luck you can get. The Black Squirrel coin flip was of real interest to Mugsy.
Spats also asked where he could get some good reading for the trip back to the big city. Lucky told him we had a special on the ONLY book in Canada written buy an Ontario, Canada dream home winner.

The gang all voted to let Mugsy and Spats into our gang. Midnight suggested these tough guys could be handy for our gang. The next time the hawk shows up here, he can deal with Spats who is tougher.
