Lottery winner had to ask his brother for a ride to collect $9.5 million

RICHMOND, B.C. — Lottery jackpot winner Kevin Bowser of Houston, B.C., will likely spend some of his windfall on a new vehicle.

When Bowser found out he had one of two winning tickets for Friday’s $19-million draw, he had to ask his brother for a ride to pick up the cheque because he didn’t have a reliable vehicle.
