Exeter’s mascot is a delightful and beautiful white squirrel which can be seen in most parts of town, but particularly at McNaughton Park early in the morning or late in the day. They like to spend the warmest hours of the summer day at the tops of their trees keeping cool. There are nesting boxes and feeders for them at the park, but many of the town residents have set up their own so that they might enjoy the beauty of “White Wonder” right in their own backyards.
