The Black Squirrel Gallery of Kent, Ohio (aka the Tree City) is operated by McKay Bricker Framing, located in the downtown area of the city of Kent, right next door to the Kent State University College of Art’s Downtown Gallery.
The gallery actively promotes the Black Squirrel Campaign with their Black Squirrel bumper stickers. Take a look at the Black Squirrel Sightings page for some of these worldwide locations: Italy, Florida, Russia, and Dartmouth College to name a few.
In September 2006, Ric Wallace launched the Black Squirrel Campaign in London, Ontario Canada to have the Black Squirrel adopted as the mascot for the Forest City (London’s moniker). He actively promoted this campaign through the media, including a presentation to City Hall. Although his proposal was rejected by the city of London, Ric had many supporters, including the McKay Bricker Black Squirrel Gallery of Kent, Ohio.
