Why rated #5?
This is open to all residents of Ontario to play with with lots of prizes. This lottery would have rated higher if the top prize had a cash alternative. The top prize does come with $100,000 cash, and some cash options on the car included in the prize package. Some of the other prizes have partial cash alternatives. - SOLD OUT - The Princess Margaret Welcome Home Sweepstakes
Toronto – The Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation
267,000 tickets will be sold – 26,701 PRIZES
Tickets $100 or 3 for $250
Why rated #6?
This is open to all residents of Ontario to play with with lots of prizes. This lottery would have rated higher if the top prizes had cash alternatives. Living in a city like London and winning the top prize in Oakville could creative a lot of hardship. You could be forced to move or have to enlist the help of someone there to watch the place while you try to sell. You would be on the hook for property taxes, utilities, alarm monitoring, insurance, security, lawn maintenance, snow removal, etc — this could really cost you big bucks. The $3.5 Million dream home would have to maybe have the furniture sent to auction and the house price lowered to sell. Real Estate fees would be high. You could sell one of the top prizes and you could walk away with a lot of money, but it would take some time and money up front. A cash alternative would make things simple. It is still worth buying.
GOOD LUCK!
