Lottery Squirrel Celebrates Walt Disney’s Birthday

by Lucky on December 4, 2008

From one rodent lover to another – we share the same birthday, December 5

Walter Elias Disney (December 5, 1901 – December 15, 1966) maybe wouldn’t have created the famous mouse and instead might have developed a character based on the white squirrels of Exeter, Ontario CANADA. That is, if his father Elias Disney had not moved from the rural village of Bluevale, Huron County, Ontario(north of Exeter, Ontario and East of Wingham) to the United States in 1878, seeking gold in California.

Check
Disney’s history on Wikipedia.

Some interesting tidbits, Disney’s parents were married in a place called Acorn, Florida. And the RCMP image of the Mountie is trademarked and owned by Disney Canada. So apparently a mouse owns the image that represents Canada’s federal police force.

We feel the Sooper 7 Paw-Picks for 05Dec08 may surprise many!
